How do you make sure your weekend leaves you refreshed for next week? It may seem impossible with all you have to do at home or with your kids, but taking time to refresh and recharge your mind is essential. When you are rested and healthy, you will also have more energy for your family and for you too. Use this time to do something you enjoy!
I have listed 12 ideas for mums to have some “me time” !!
1- Take a nap or sleep more during the weekend.
2- Ask your friend to join you for a nice run or a workout.
Doing exercises release endorphins and they trigger a positive feeling in the body! Sometimes the hardest is just to have the motivation to do it, so with a friend it is usually easier! You don't need to run for 1 hour, even just an easy walk or a little swim is great.
3- Listen to music and dance at home.
I love this one! I like choosing songs from 1990 and have a bit of fun!!
Well I must admit that I am only doing it when I am alone in the house :)

6- Go for a walk in the bush or just around your place.
7- Take a bubble bath.
Candles, music...just relax and take this time to thing about...NOTHING!!
8- Read a nice book in a park by yourself.
You don’t need the whole afternoon, even just one hour, you will feel better!!
