    Being French, I love quiches!! But the original crust is made with lots of butter, eggs and wheat flour (short crust or "pâte brisée" in French). It is quite heavy!!     Those fritters are very easy to make and kids usually love them! 

    This recipe contains spelt flour. Spelt is very high in fiber, which facilitates healthy digestion. 

    It is also high iron and copper that can boost blood circulation.

    Spelt flour doesn't contain as much gluten as wheat but it is another form of gluten.
