Do you know the percentage of almonds contained in commercialised almond milks? It is usually around 2-3%!
I wanted to make my own almond milk to increase this percentage but also to taste a real almond milk without any additives or sweeteners. I found on an article that by doing your own almond milk the almond percentage is 18-20%.

250g raw almonds
700ml filtered water
Place the almonds in a large bowl with 1 litre of water. Cover them and leave them for 24 hours
Drain the almonds
Place the almonds and filtered water in a blender and mix for 2 minutes
Once smooth, place the almond mixture in a nut bag above a large bowl and squeeze it with your hands to reveals the milk
Place the almond milk in a glass bottle and store it in a fridge for a couple of days.
