This acai smoothie bowl Is topped with raspberries, banana, blueberries and dessicated coconut. I have used frozen organic acai puree. But you can use any other fruits in addition to the acai puree.
Do you know acai? You might have heard about it in internet as it is very popular?! Acai berries are dark purple fruits that grow in Amazon forest. Acai has been recognised as a superfood. There are so many benefits to eat Acai berries!
I have listed the ones that appeal the most to me: * They contain more than double the antioxidants of the blueberries!
* They are very rich in vitamin C, great for immunity and to fight off diseases. * They have a large amount of plant sterols that can reduce blood pressure and improve the blood circulation.
This is my easy recipe to make the Acai smoothie Bowl:
2 frozen sliced bananas (400g)
75g of frozen blueberries
100g acai puree
300g of plain yoghurt
Topping: Fresh fruits including raspberries, bananas, blueberries, coconut flakes…
Add the bananas, blueberries, acai puree and the yoghurt to a blender.
Blend until smooth
Spoon the acai smoothie into bowls and top with fresh fruits
