You can find trail mix at the supermarkets but it is healthier and cheaper to make your own!!
And also very easy!!
In a large bowl, mix your favorite nuts and seeds: almonds, cashews, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, linseeds...
Make a large batch and store it in a glass container or divide in 30g container for ready to go snack.
As an example, I made this homemade trail mix with 120 almonds, 120 of walnuts and 120g of cashew. The snack portion is a handful of nuts, equivalent to 30g. With my batch I am able to make 12 healthy snacks :)
Use only raw nuts (not the salted nuts), if possible local nuts and if not organic at least pesticide free.
I also sometimes use coconut flakes, give it a try!
